A young lady from Bray Park recently faced the Pine Rivers Magistrates Court charged with drink driving after being caught over the 'no alcohol limit'. Pine Rivers Traffic Lawyer Jamie Whitehead stated outside of court that the young girl who had been on a probationary licence had a quick drink after work finished in the Brisbane CBD. "My client caught the train to Strathpine station. She entered her vehilce and drove some 500 meters where she was pulled over for a Random Breath Test. She believed that she did not have any alcohol that would have registered. She was not drunk, nor did she feel drunk, she drove under the belief that she was not breaking the law." The young lady recorded a reading of .044 which was well over the no alcohol limit for probationary licence holders. The Presiding Magistrate ordered that the lady be disqualified for a period of 1 month. Owing to the fact that she was a probationary licence holder, she was not eligible for a work licence.
