Kathleen Hall has over 25 years physiotherapy experience, developing a specialist interest in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy since 1986. She has held senior physiotherapy positions in the Departments of Thoracic Medicine and the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Centre at the Prince Charles Hospital since 2003. Previous appointments include senior roles in Respiratory Medicine at the Austin and Repatriation General Hospitals (Melbourne) and Lecturer appointments in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy at both Melbourne and Queensland Universities.
She holds degrees in Physiotherapy (Queensland University), Post Graduate Diploma Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy ( La Trobe university) and a Master of Social Science – Counselling (QUT/ACU).
Kathleen is offering respiratory patient’s physiotherapy consultation and management that includes Airway Clearance Techniques, specialised exercise prescription, modified pulmonary rehabilitation education and programs, and education in use of inhalation therapies. Her approach incorporates her counselling experience and focuses on improving patient’s self-management, self-efficacy and aims to improved quality of life.
Patients that would benefit include those with CF and Non -CF Bronchiectasis, COPD, Asthma and other chronic respiratory diseases.
