Its fact of life in this volatile climate, there will be conflicts. One thing that you should be looking at when choosing a a care facility for your loved one is that the CCTV surveillance throughout the facility. This can provide a great deal of comfort, put your mind at ease knowing that the care and protection of your loved ones is being monitored. I also shows the commitment that management has regarding their staff. Unfortunate, but it is inevitable that complaints are going to made, warranted or not they will be made. AS a carer, and with out any documented proof of what happened you will find yourself suspended and in many cases unable to work int industry again. Just because a care facility has nice appearance, nice website, glossy magazines, with full CCTV you can never be sure how your loved ones a really being treated. Embracia On the Avenue is an example of that. Lovely looking facility, Exclusive, NO CCTV coverage. In the last month two PC's are being investigated by Deception BAY CIB for Elder abuse. Is that really the type of care management you would want for your loved ones. It also shows managements total lack of care for staff welfare.
