In Australia you can marry on the beach, in the rainforest or Aussie bush, a beautiful garden or park, a private house or farm or a chapel or gazebo at a dedicated wedding venue. Your choice will depend on your lifestyle and ideas for your special day.
Your Wedding Day will be one of the most exciting days of your life. As a Civil Marriage Celebrant, I would love to help you make it one of the happiest. I will personally write a ceremony to reflect your wishes and beliefs in a ceremony that is beautiful and dignified. You are welcome to have as much input into your ceremony as you wish to. I aim to make your wedding ceremony as stress free as possible. I use a discreet PA system to ensure that your guests not only see the ceremony but also enjoy hearing the words.
I will prepare the ceremony with you, to ensure the legalities are met and that you have the ceremony you have dreamed about - one which will be uniquely yours.
On your wedding day the bride will sign with her current name, thereafter if she chooses to, she can adopt her husband’s last name or combine both their names.
Naturally you will have a presentation copy of the ceremony along with a special certificate for your all wedding party to sign on the day with a space left for your favourite photo. I will ensure the legal paperwork is completed, along with the application for a government marriage certificate (the legal one) which I will send to the Dept of Birth, Deaths and Marriages (BDM) after your wedding. The legal certificate will then be mailed to you by BDM within 6 weeks (often sooner).
