Drink plenty of water
Massage increases the flow of blood around your body and releases toxins at the cellular level, it is therefore essential to increase your intake of water for at least a couple of days after your massage.
Allow your body to enjoy the benefits of your massage and take it easy for a couple of days; especially if it has been a long time since your last massage or if your muscles have been stressed.
We recommended that you limit the amount of alcohol and caffeine after a massage as these contribute to the dehydration of your body.
Eat a light meal
Don't over burden you system with a heavy meal as it may reduce the effects of your massage.
Book regular massages
Research indicates that it takes approximately three (3) weeks for an adhesion (knot) to develop; regular massage will assist in reducing the development of these adhesions.
