R4 3DS card introduction

Buy Good R4 card for 3DS online
There are many r4 cards for 3DS in the market now. Some are good in function and compatibility, but others are fake or bad in firmware update. Kindly recommend to buy the R4i SDHC 3DS or the R4i Gold 3DS card, which are most popular currently. If you want to avoid trouble, you can also buy a MicroSD card together, and ask the reseller to install the software and games for you. If so, after get the R4 card, you need to do nothing, but play games straightly. How to Mod Nintendo 3DS with R4 card
Mostly, the r4 card will come with a USB adapter, it is for r4 kernel and game installation.
Step 1. Download latest r4 kernel
Each R4 card use it’s own software, it can be download from r4town.com or the official website. After download, it is a zipped patch, which can’t be use directly. Users need to unzip the patch into some files.
Step 2. Download DS game
Download the favourate games from r4town.com to the computer. It is also a zipped patch. Unzip the patch into “.nds” file. Only the “.NDS” file can directly run on the r4 card. There are many other free website for DS game download, such as r4-roms.com. Players can choose any of them for R4 game download.
Setp 3. Connect the microSD card to computer
The R4 comes with a microSD to USB adapter which is very nice. If you have a memory card reader, use the SD adapter that comes with most microSD cards. In a pinch, put the memory card in a compatible phone and connect the phone to the computer.
Step 4. Copy R4 kernel and games to MicroSD card
Copy all unzipped files of R4 kernel and the game to the root directory of MicroSD card. Don’t bulid any mother directory, all files must be on root directory. If there are any other files in the MicroSD card, delect them, as they may case problem.
Step 5. Verify that you have done everything right
That should be all it takes. Remove whatever game may be in your 3DS' Slot-1, insert the R4 card, and insert the microSD card into the R4. There is only one way it can go, and it will most likely be the way you don't expect. It does not matter in what order you do this - you could also put the microSD card into the R4 and then put the R4 in the 3DS. (it is no good to take out the R4 card before 3DS power off)
Step 6. Turn on the 3DS
You should get the safety warning, but before you get a chance to touch the screen to confirm, the R4 should take over. The default 3DS menu, if it was enabled (it is by default), will be bypassed, and the R4 menu will load. You will get three choices. The first one, Game, will allow you to load a .NDS file (a DS ROM, or a homebrew application - .NDS is to your DS what .EXE is to your Windows computer). The second one, Media, will allow you to play multimedia - music, video, text - using the Moonshell OS. The third one, Slot-2, will allow you to boot a Slot-2 (Game Boy Advance) game.
