Our Glass Restoration Removes Soap Scum Buildup!
Glass shower screens are in the line of fire and take years of relentless punishment. Calcium and other minerals dissolved in tap water together with hair and body cleaning products build up on the glass surface. These deposits stick to the glass and if not removed can cause permanent damage and will become etched into the surface.
There are various “miracle” products available from supermarkets for cleaning your shower glass that claim to removing hard water staining and spots, calcium, mineral deposits and soap scum, but most fail, and many actually cause other damage to your shower due to the very aggressive chemical concoction they’re made of. These chemicals are so strong they must carry a HAZMAT dangerous goods mark on the label. They are dangerous to use and present a risk to your family just storing them in your home.
GroutPro Tile and Grout Specialists use our own Professional Glass Restorer which is designed to gently remove staining from your glass to a near new finish. It is an ENVIRONMENTALLY & FAMILY SAFE PRODUCT and is used to remove calcium hard water staining, and is water-based and biodegradable. It is NON-CORROSIVE, contains NO ACIDS or solvents, and is specially formulated to not scratch your glass. Your shower glass will finish gleaming, clean and clear again – and at a fraction of the cost of replacing your glass.
Not only shower screens, we can treat glass balustrades, pool fences, splash backs, windows, glazed tiles, just about anything made of glass.
After we’ve removed the stains and your glass is gleaming, clean and clear again, we then spray the glass with GroutPro Professional Glass Protector to provide an easy to clean glass protection coating, that prevents water from hanging on the surface eliminating the opportunity for stains to reoccur. Our glass protection coating prevents the buildup of hard water stains, and saves you the expense and work of using aggressive, dangerous and expensive cleaning chemicals.
Once treated – simply wipe over the shower glass after use with a squeegee or soft cloth to remove any water & residue.
