Following the highly successful inaugural RSL Soldiers Kokoda 2011 join us as we lead battle casualties and relatives of soldiers killed in action in Afghanistan, as well as high profile identities from all sectors of the community, in a trek across the 96km historic Kokoda Trail in Papua New Guinea.  You will join trekkers from all sectors of the community such as sport, television, politics and the arts on what promises to be a journey of a lifetime.   General Peter Cosgrove AC MC is an Adventure1000 Ambassador and, pending engagements, will join the trekkers at the 70th Anniversary service at Isurava Memorial on Saturday, 28 July 2012.   The trek is hosted by Adventure1000 (www.adventure1000.com.au), the premier Kokoda trekking company lead by former Australian Army Special Forces Officer, Brian Freeman.
