Let’s go in kayaks where yachts fear to go and take on a paddle across Bass Strait. Led by John Jacoby and Brian Freeman this experience is a real feather in your cap. Four months of training will commence with a full familiarisation of kayaks so you don’t have to be an experienced paddler to attend. You don’t even have to have sat in a kayak before. To paddle across Bass Strait will take us around seven paddling days; we have therefore allocated eleven days inclusive for this program. Starting from Wilson Promontory, Bass Strait provides a number of ideally placed islands at which we can overnight enroute to Tasmania. In addition, a 17 metre support boat with a fully qualified Skipper will support us. The boat can accommodate up to 12 people.   Paddlers will paddle in double sea-going kayaks and the maximum number of attendees is 12.
COST / FUND RAISING   The full cost / You must fund raise $25,000.
