Hypnosis is a very useful and actually familiar experience for most people.  Ever drifted into a trance-like state from which you have been aroused by someone saying "Earth to Cindy"?  Or been almost asleep in front of the telly? Or pulled up after driving a few kilometres and thinking to yourself, "hope I didn't go through a red light because I was not present while I was driving"? 

These are all examples of a trance-like state - you feel comfortable, relaxed and your mind is off elsewhere which is quite likely to happen when you are in a hypnotic trance state.

Hypnosis works with your sub-conscious mind to get to the bottom of issues and the conscious mind is not necessarily aware of what is underneath.  After all, you probably wouldn't consciously remember a trauma that happened in your baby years, so you may not be aware of the impact of that trauma.

Hypnosis taps into your inner strengths and capabilities, and does this below the level of the conscious mind, which is what makes it fun.  You don't have to keep watching every word you say, or every thought you think, for change to occur when you have made your appointment and completed your session.
