the knowledge and skills of knowing how the way you work with and handle
food can affect the safety of the food you provide to customers. The
Australia and New Zealand Food Safety Standards - FSANZ 3.2.2 (food
safety practices and general requirements) requires that people who
handle food and the people who supervise those who handle food have the
necessary skills and knowledge required to keep the food they handle
safe at all times.
There are offences and heavy penalties for individuals who do not
comply with the Food Safety Standards. By completing the Food Handling

course, your food handling certificate will be sent to you in the mail.
The course provides you the skills and knowledge required to apply

requires the ability to follow predetermined procedures, identify and
control simple hazards and take particular hygiene measures to ensure
