The TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment qualification has been categorised into four skill sets. This enables a student to choose the study stream that is appropriate to their job role or area of interest.
This short course complies with AQTF requirements and is specifically
designed for individuals working in a registered training organisation
(RTO) or in an enterprise that works together with an RTO in an
auspice arrangement. These people deliver and assess nationally
endorsed units or qualifications.
To successfully complete the Training and Assessment qualification you need to complete the following units successfully:
- TAEASS401A - Plan assessment activities and
processes - Plan and organise the assessment process, including
recognition of prior learning (RPL), in a competency – based assessment
system. It also includes the development of simple assessment
- TAEASS402A - Assess competence - Assess the competence of a candidate.
- TAEASS403A - Participate in assessment validation - Participate in an assessment validation process.
- TAEDEL301A - Provide work skill instruction -
Conduct individual and group instruction and demonstrate work skills,
using existing learning resources in a safe and comfortable learning
environment. Determine the success of both the training provided and
one’s own personal training performance. It emphasises the training as
being driven by the work process and context.
