A truck wheel washer was recently commissioned at a landfill site in Queensland. Supplied and installed by Accuweigh’s QWM branch in Brisbane, the truck wheel washer removes mud and debris from truck wheels, tyres and the underbodies of trucks before they exit the landfill site.
The AccuWash DTW-241 truck wheel washer has many environmentally friendly devices to minimise water usage while also improving wash performance, including a Powered Scraper which continually removes sludge from the water holding tank during each truck wash operation.
A Hydrocyclone Solids Separator removes sand, soil, grit and other solid matter to greatly improve water quality for improved truck wheel wash performance. The filtered water also eliminates pitting of truck paintwork and damage to underbody components caused by suspended particles under high pump pressures.
Accuweigh's truck wheel washer was fitted with an optional external water pump and controls to allow the wheel wash to draw water from water tanks to eliminate the need for using town water. Accuweigh can also provide integrated Traffic Lights to control vehicular access to the wheel wash as well as fully prefabricated Pedestrian Handrails and Gates around sludge pits and along wheel wash driveways for increased pedestrian safety.
Accuweigh has eight branches across all mainland states providing sales and service support on all truck wheel washers and underbody wash systems.
