A public weighbridge is being used for weighing cattle trucks entering and leaving the Bective Station near Tamworth. The weighbridge is also used for accurately tracking the amount of grains and feed being delivered to each cattle pen in the feedlot.
Manufactured by Ultrahawke in Melbourne, this weighbridge is also registered as a Public Weighbridge to perform legal weighings for the general public. The Ultrahawke weighbridge measures 26 metres long and has an extended width of 3.5 metres to enable the weighbridge to weigh the large mobile feed bins and agricultural machinery used on the feedlot.
The client arranged for the civil works for the weighbridge to be completed by his own civils contactor with Garry Sheen from New England Weighing Services assembling, commissioning and certifying the weighbridge.
Ultrahawke is Australia’s oldest weighbridge manufacturer and builds weighbridges using quality BHP steel in their own dedicated weighbridge manufacturing facility in Campbellfield, Melbourne. Ultrahawke has loyal and dedicated weighbridge agents in all Australian states to provide sales and service support on weighbridges of all types.
