A Portable Truck Wheel Wash was recently installed for removing organic material from tyres, wheels and underbodies of vehicles working on the Liquid Natural Gas Project near Gladstone in Queensland. Supplied by Accuweigh’s QWM branch in Brisbane, a Portable Truck Wheel Wash was installed to allow easy removal after the two and a half year project is completed.Accuweigh’s Portable Truck Wheel Wash was required to prevent weed and seed contamination caused by vehicles passing between properties. As the Truck Wheel Wash is operating in a remote area away from a mains connection, a portable 75kVA diesel generator was also supplied by Accuweigh to provide operating power.Accuweigh’s Truck Wheel Washer incorporates high pressure multi-spray heads connected to a high quality stainless steel pump to dislodge foreign materials and break-up clumps of soil and other material for effective material removal. A shaker grid six metres long was also supplied and positioned at the entrance to the wash bay to assist with dislodging heavy material build-up before the wash operation is initiated.Sold and serviced by eight Accuweigh branches across Australia, the AccuWash Truck Wheel Wash systems are ideal for busy work sites like quarries, mine sites and landfill operations. The ever increasing EPA requirements may soon require a wheel wash system on every industrial work site where vehicles could leave track out on public roads.

A Seca Baby Weigher was was purchased for weighing babies at Wellington Point’s ChemMart Pharmacy in Brisbane’s bayside suburbs. Supplied by Accuweigh’s Geebung branch, the Seca 354 baby weigher easily converts into a floor scale for weighing toddlers and small children up to 20kg.
An Accuweigh Truck Wheel Wash is being used to clean the wheels, tyres and underbodies of trucks exiting Brisbane City Council’s Legacy Way tunnel project in Queensland. Supplied by Accuweigh’s QWM branch, the Truck Wheel Wash features an automatic washing operation which is triggered by vehicles as they approach the wheel wash.
