Weight Indicator, Ip69k Weight Indicator
An IP69K Weight Indicator is at present being supplied to a meatworks in Queensland to eradicate potential water damage caused to scales on the boning lines. Supplied by Accuweigh’s QWM branch in Brisbane, five sets of IP69K rated Weight Indicators are being prepared for transportation to Rockhampton, Central Queensland.
Accuweigh’s IP69K Weight Indicators are entirely waterproofed and the design copes with direct hosing of high pressure water at temperatures up to 80ºC. The housing of the harsh environment indicator uses a food grade, impact resistant composite alloy housing incorporating a double ‘o’ ring seal to offer superior sealing performance over traditional stainless steel enclosures.
The capacitive keyboard of this Weight Indicator allows the full front panel to be constructed as a single solid piece to eliminate seams and joins that could break down or leak. The capacitance effect of the keypad senses an operator’s finger without requiring any actual pressure on the key – even when wearing gloves.
Another important benefit of the IP69K’s capacitive keyboard is it’s immunity to damage by accidental knife cuts. Unlike conventional keyboards using a vinyl membrane, the solid capacitive panel of the IP69K Weight Indicator does not damage easily.
Accuweigh is Australia’s largest industrial weighing company and has eight branches across mainland states providing superior product support on all scales and weighing equipment, including Weight Indicator’s.
