Electronic Scales are being used to accurately weight a wide variety of animal feeds in Capalaba, Queensland. Supplied by Accuweigh’s QWM branch in Slacks Creek, the Electronic Scales were certified for Trade Use to allow buying and selling of product by weight.
Accuweigh’s PB series Electronic Scales are ideally suited for use bench top use, but can also be used as a floor scale when larger and heavier items need to be weighed. The large LCD display of the digital weight indicator can be detached from the base of the Electronic Scales when weighing large objects that may block display visibility.
With a weighing capacity of 30kg using dual intervals of 0.005/0.001kg divisions, the PB Electronic Scales are battery powered with up to 300 hours of operation available from alkaline batteries. Rechargeable batteries can also be fitted for up to 60 hours of operation between recharges allowing fully portable scale operation.
The large weighing platform of 355mm x 443mm allows a wide variety of products and containers to be weighed while the white backlit display allows these Electronic Scales to be used under all lighting conditions.
These Electronic Scales can transmit the displayed weight readings to ticket / label printers or to a PC using the standard RS-232 serial output port.

Accuweigh’s stainless steel platform scales were recently exported to a food processing company in Indonesia for weighing laden food trolleys. A Seca Baby Weigher was was purchased for weighing babies at Wellington Point’s ChemMart Pharmacy in Brisbane’s bayside suburbs. Supplied by Accuweigh’s Geebung branch, the Seca 354 baby weigher easily converts into a floor scale for weighing toddlers and small children up to 20kg.
An Accuweigh Truck Wheel Wash is being used to clean the wheels, tyres and underbodies of trucks exiting Brisbane City Council’s Legacy Way tunnel project in Queensland. Supplied by Accuweigh’s QWM branch, the Truck Wheel Wash features an automatic washing operation which is triggered by vehicles as they approach the wheel wash.
A Ramsey beltweigher was recently serviced at a quarry located at Nerang on Queensland’s Gold Coast.
An In-Motion Truck Weighing System was recently commissioned at the ADF’s Amberley barracks in Ipswich, West of Brisbane.
A Portable Truck Wheel Wash was recently installed for removing organic
material from tyres, wheels and underbodies of vehicles working on the
Liquid Natural Gas Project near Gladstone in Queensland.
A Public Weighbridge was recently installed and certified for trade use
for MCG Quarries, South of Moranbah in Central Queensland.
