Daily activities that may be impacted by communication difficulties can include, but are not limited to ... further education, employment, sporting/recreational activities, interpersonal relationships, etc.
SpeechEase can help you achieve your communication goals using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) methods.
SpeechEase will assess your situation and, with your help, determine an AAC device that best suits your individual needs. We will then support you to implement your new voice into your life.
SpeechEase also offers assessment and treatment for fluency (i.e. stuttering) and voice problems in adults.
SpeechEase is highly trained in assessing and treating mealtime difficulties. This is for adults who have trouble chewing and/or swallowing foods. SpeechEase will assess your oral motor skills and your control levels of food and fluid prior to providing personalised recommendations. SpeechEase can also develop mealtime management plans if required.
SpeechEase can provide training for family members, community organisations/clubs and support workers at your preferred location.
