Cultivate Calm Yoga is a small, community studio in Brisbane with a relaxed and friendly vibe offering yoga classes and meditation to suit all ages (12 and over) and levels of fitness. Learn how to use your body as a tool to calm your mind by applying ancient wisdom to modern living and cultivating the calm within.
Our intention is to make yoga accessible with a focus on stress management, relaxation and wellness to help you reconnect with yourself, find peace and feel alive.
We offer a variety of styles:
Yin - A gentle, restorative class that releases tension and stress to help you unwind and slow down. The sequence is floor-based and the poses are held longer than usual to release tight connective tissue and ligaments. This class is beneficial for athletes, people with chronic aches and pains, people with stress and anxiety and pregnant women.
Vinyasa - A dynamic, flowing class combining strength, balance and flexibility. The sequence synchronises movement with breath to calm the mind, tone the body and nourish the soul. This class is suitable for all levels.
Pregnancy yoga - suitable for women in their 2nd/3rd trimester.
Meditation - 2 guided mediations with gentle yoga and breathing exercises
