If your in-ground pool has been damaged, or is full of debris and muddy water, by flood waters, DO NOT EMPTY IT WHILE GROUND IS SODDEN, UNLESS YOU FIRST REFER IT TO AN ENGINEER.
Concrete and Fibreglass pools can be severly damaged if the weight of the internal water of the shell is removed.  The shell can be lifted out of level and even broken, by the pressure exerted on the shell by the external moisture.
For further information on dealing with flood damage for in-ground swimming pools go to our web site www.aadvancepoolconsultants.com.au.
