High Risk Licence Changes
I Want That Mining Course
Workplace Health and Safety, Mining Courses, High Risk Licence
In keeping with the upcoming Workplace Health and Safety changes, as of the 30 June 2012.
Training will be updating our delivery and assessment in all High Risk Courses. These licences will also be changing from an Accredited Queensland course to a National Training Package course.
Why the change – The changes to the WHS Act and Regulations have meant differences to the registration process for Registered Training Organisations and the Licencing Assessor requirements. The Accredited course units are expiring on 30 June 2012 and new prescribed assessment tools in line with the Training Package units of competency are to be implemented.
All those who have attended training (theory) up to the 30 June 2012 have until 31 December 2012 to have;
• Completed the logbook
• Been assessed as competent in the practical assessment
• Submitted the applicable paperwork to the Post Office
If you miss this deadline – YOU MISS OUT ON THE LICENCE!
