Dental, Teeth, Pain
At Choice Dental we aim to help you maintain your natural teeth for life.
Even if you take excellent care of your teeth and gums at home, you still need to see your dentist regularly. Your dentist can check for problems that you may not see or feel. Many dental problems don't become visible or cause pain until they are in more advanced stages. Examples include cavities, gum disease and oral cancer.
At Choice Dental we emphasise a preventative approach to the care of your teeth. A six monthly check up and clean will ensure we spot any issues before they worsen. Seeing a dentist twice a year works well for most people. A few people can get away with fewer visits. Others may need more frequent visits. People with very little risk of cavities or gum disease can do fine seeing their dentist just once a year. People with a high risk of dental disease might need to visit every three or four months, or more.
At Choice dental we are extremely lucky to have Dental Hygienist’s as a part of our dental team. Their level of knowledge and expertise has proven to be a great asset to the practice, allowing the development of our active maintenance program.
Dr. Nelson Chuang encourages all his patients to utilise the skills and knowledge of our Dental Hygienist’s to ensure they get the best level of care.
