Occupational therapists assist children and enable children and families to overcome difficulties and empower them to be able to live as independently as possible. Occupational therapists (OTs) are child / family-focused. OT’s address the sensory sensitivities, as well as the behavioural and coordination difficulties. OTs also assist children to achieve daily activities such as dressing, feeding, bathing and playing. OTs use children’s everyday activities as the focus of intervention.
