What is the difference between Thor’s Rhino Blanket faced insulation and other similar roof blanket insulation brands like Anticon™ and Vapa-Chek™which are currently on the market?
Thor’s RhinoBlanket has been made with a high strengthpolywoven fabric facing applied to a glasswool blanket whereas other products commonly use a double sided foil with fibre mesh for the facing.
The polywoven fabric provides these additional benefits;
- outstanding tensile and tear strength
- unrolls more easily right the way to the end of the roll
- an excellent visible surface finish
Thor’s Rhino Blanket product is applied under the metal
roof of residential housing and in commercial and industrial
buildings, it possesses both thermal and acoustic insulation properties.
Reflective foil insulation reflects up to 95% of radiant heat
entering the roof cavity and prevents condensation, while the roof
blanket insulation absorbs outside noise and slows the transfer of heat
into and out of the building structure.
Thor has invested in the latest technology laminating machines which enables the roof blanket insulation to be Cut-to-Size, or to be produced with Left Hand & Right Hand Lap, or to be Centrally Bonded.
