This 10 week series of classes is aimed at
beginning dancers who are interested in exploring this unique and
ever-expanding style of dance. These classes focus on increasing body
awareness, building core strength, posture and coordination, ease of
movement and creating a strong foundation in the essential skills to
course focuses on body isolations, hip lifts, drops, glute work,
shimmies, chest and shoulder pops and locks, pelvic and back tucks,
chest and hip figure eights, plus tribal posture, arms, hands and turns.
Starting Thursday April 28 (6:30-7:30) for 10 weeks at the Dance Works. Burke Street Wooloongabba. 2 Minute walk from Park Road Train Station.

Shannes love of dance is infectious and by sharing and encouraging other women to dance she hopes to facilitate a rich and diverse dance community in . She has taught upbeat workshops offering sword, Tribal Fusion and Tribal Bellydance in and interstate catering for both advanced and beginner dancers. Using her degree in Education, Shanne has formulated a clear teaching method with a strong emphasis on safety, technique and posture.
