Emergency and Crisis Funding

When someone is diagnosed with a disabling condition, the whole family faces new challenges and life can sometimes be overwhelming for the parents or carers involved.
This emotional turmoil can lead to crisis situations that put families at breaking point, for which there is currently limited support and assistance available.
But Play List Group is changing that.
Play List Group is a not-for-profit organisation based in Brisbane’s bayside and dedicated to providing crisis and emergency funding for adults and children with Autism or other intellectual and/or physical disability.
The funds we raise provide short-term respite for families in crisis. This may be due to the illness, unexpected problems with a carer or relative; escalating violence; or other sudden stresses on a family unit.
This respite, including 24-hour care and supervision, can cost up to $1,000 per day.
Play List Group relies entirely on donations and does not receive any government funding.
Financial support from generous community members, local philanthropists, businesses, and corporations will help us to deliver this crucial service missing from our community to protect those who are most vulnerable.
