Pilates is a form of exercise which emphasizes the balanced development of the body through core strength, flexibility and awareness. You will learn how to use breath, vertical posture and the T-Line to achieve better posture in your day to day activities and any other activities you might participate in.
Our Pilates Matt Classes give you a full body work out which last for 1 hour. It will improve your posture, strengthen, lengthen and tone your body without machines using safe non-impact exercises.
Classes are kept small to ensure personalized and individual attention is given through the class. The ideal class size is a maximum of 8.
Injuries or specific physical problems can be accommodated by notifying the instructor of any medical concerns, including pregnancy, prior to doing any class.
Classes progress according to the fitness level of the class, gradually increasing in intensity.
Please ensure that you have a health practitioner’s clearance prior to starting the classes if you have any injury, pain or illness and always advise the instructor of any such injuries or pain prior to the class.
