Three good reasons to work with a business mentor...
Do you neglect good ideas, postpone agreed changes or just put off the hard decisions?
A mentor is someone to be answerable to. Your mentor will need to know why the good ideas are allowed to lapse or the tough decisions are being neglected. A mentor will help you pull the issues out of the "too hard basket" and get them done
Is it too hard to put your good ideas into practice?
A mentor can help you develop and implement strategies. Verve has business experience combined with sound academic training that can help you to develop effective ways to improve your business....and if you don't have the answers your mentor will provide sound business principals to establish a path forward.
How often do you wish you could let somebody in on the personal challenges of running your business?
Your mentor is an objective outsider who you can share ideas with, tap into a wealth of business experience and knowledge and someone who can provide a fresh perspective
What we can offer
We work face to face or via phone with you and your staff to identify what is going to make your business more successful. We help you develop action steps, work to milestones and monitor your progress. You will receive access to policy and procedures templates that we help you tailor to the specific needs of your business.
Working it out
Firstly we work out what is critical to the success of your business. We really need to know what is going make your business tick. Then we establish your priorities. Resources are limited: there is never enough time money or access to the right people to do everything. At this stage some further research may be required. We can give you some tools to gain feedback from your staff, customers and suppliers. By now we both should have a good understanding of your business - it is time to sets some goals. Make a declaration about what it is you want to achieve.
Your mentor is there to monitor your progress, refine strategies and suggest alternative courses of action.
