GCB Environmental Risk Management
An Environmental Management System (EMS) is a framework to effectively identify, measure, manage and control environmental impacts and environmental risks. An Environmental Management System also establishes the means for improving performance and moving towards environmental sustainability through best practice such as ISO 14001.
We can prepare Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) for a range of sites and projects, dealing with a number of complex and broad issues. An EMP is a site or project-specific plan which ensures environmental practices are followed during a project’s construction and / or operation. The preparation and implementation of an EMP is often a condition of a development approval.
We are also able to develop other site specific environmental management procedures and tools. Depending on the nature of the project and the requirements of the client, GCB Environmental can produce the following:
- Site Management Plans (e.g. Acid Sulphate Soils, Water, Fauna)
- Site Environment Plans (SEP's)
- Environmental Risk Analysis
If you are a small business sub-contractor undertaking work for a principal contractor, there is usually a requirement to include environmental risks and controls in your hazard analysis documentation. Whether you are required to submit Job Safety & Environmental Analysis (JSEA) or Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), failure to include the right information can lead to time delays and down time. We can help you get it right first time so you can get the job started.
We can assist with all of your monitoring requirements, including:
- Surface & Ground Water
- Noise & Vibration
- Contaminated Land
- Emissions & Odour
