New High Volume Dewatering Pump
Centrifugal Pumps, Self Priming
A new high volume dewatering pump has just been released by Hydro Innovations, exclusive Australian distributor for Gorman-Rupp. It is said to be efficient, capable of handling large volumes of trash, and be easy to maintain.
The PAH6A60C-B can deliver flow rates to 250 litres per second [l/s] and heads to 80 metres, making it ideal for delivering large flows through long runs of pipe or over high quarry or construction site walls. And because the pump is also capable of handling spherical solids up to 75mm, it can also be used as a sewage bypass pump.
Gorman-Rupp has been building the finest self priming pumps for over 80 years, but now offers a complete range of prime assisted pumps to compliment their flagship products. The PAH6 is part of this range. The priming is done using a compressor/ venturi system and Gorman-Rupp’s own air separation chamber.
The Gorman-Rupp PAH6 is the easiest prime assisted pump to service. It has clean-out ports on the suction side, and also built into the integral check valve, but the patented internal clearance adjustment system is what separates Gorman-Rupp’s dewatering pump range from others. Clearances can be adjusted easily by one operator without the need to take the pump back to the workshop or even take it apart.
Pumps can be driven by diesel engines, natural gas engines or electric motors. When used in residential areas, they can be fitted with “silent pack” canopies to reduce noise emissions back to levels that will allow pumps to operate adjacent to residences. Other pumps in the range can cater for lower duties or higher ones. More information on these pumps can be obtained from [email protected] or 02 9898 1800.
