XAVIER&ME rugs are designed in our Sydney studio and are a mix of smoky-hued patterns to bold graphic forms combined with bright colours, as already seen in our cushions. Hand-knotted in a mix of materials including New Zealand wool, natural silk, viscose and linen, our rugs are a natural product extension for the Xavier&Me brand and complement our cushion and other new products coming in 2012.

Now you need look no further than XAVIER&ME to find the perfect rug for your scheme and lifestyle.
XAVIER&ME can provide assistance in designing or choosing the right rug for your home. The process is simple:
1. Email me with plans or a rough layout & dimensions of your room including floor type & colour, furniture placement and style. If you want to change the colours, please advise. We can colour match to a artwork, paint or fabric sample.
2. Choose design from our collection or we can design one just for you. If you require the design service, a design fee is applicable.
3. We will send you a room mock up with rug selection including furniture placement.
4. Once you have approved your design, we will send your design off to be made.
how your rug is made
XAVIER&ME rugs are all hand-knotted in India or Nepal. Hand-knotted pieces tend to be higher in quality because of the intensive labour required for weavers to tie individual pile yarns around the rugs warp, the lengthwise section of the rug. Densely knotted rugs have a fine, taut surface.
advantages of hand-knotted rug
Hand-knotted wool rugs last a lot longer and wear a lot better
Hand -knotted rugs are better quality. Making a hand-knotted rug requires far more skill and precision.
Our hand-knotted rugs are made with only the best natural fibres, like 100% New Zealand wool.
A hand-knotted rug can last for 70 years – even longer when kept well.
A hand-knotted rug won’t start to show signs of wear and tear until at least 30 years of age
Some of our hand-knotted rugs may share the same design name but no two rugs are perfectly identical, making every Xavier&Me rug unique.
