Letter from The Manager As an Emergency Services professional, responding to an emergency or fire is common. Understanding how people respond and react to an emergency is a passion of mine - people respond to emergencies in a range of ways and it is always very easy to see who is prepared and who is not when responding to an emergency or fire. Being prepared is very simple to achieve - that is why I have launched Workplace Emergency Management - to assist workplaces in being prepared and ready to respond to an emergency or fire. We have prepared packages to suit all types of workplaces and we will tailor a package for your workplace so you too can be prepared to deal with an emergency if ever faced with one. The key tools for being prepared to face an emergency is having an emergency plan in place; evacuation diagrams to inform people where they are and where they need to go; training of the emergency plan, which includes responses to different types of emergencies (eg, bomb threat, fire, medical) and training of your people (eg, warden training and staff training) and training in the safe use of equipment such as fire control system, warning system, fire extinguishers, hose reels and general fire safety training. We will train and support you to be prepared in the best possible way and deal with an emergency situation in your workplace. We look forward to hearing from you - because We Care.
