Educate to Communicate has two convenient locations in Rouse Hill and Enfield. KATE MEREDITH is the Principal Speech Pathologist/ Clinical Senior Kate's experience in the profession of Speech Pathology is highly varied. This has allowed her to develop skills in the assessment and intervention of a range of client populations. Her skill areas include: -Paediatric feeding: providing consultation and advice to breastfeeding mothers, supporting parents of fussy eaters and assisting with the transition to solids and cup drinking in toddlers. - Early intervention for children with delayed communication skills i.e. 'late talkers'. - Preschool and school aged language, articulation and fluency. - Adolescent language and literacy. - Voice therapy for adults with Parkinson's Disease (LSVT). - Consultation to Nursing Homes on modifying diets for residents with swallowing difficulties. - Quality services to clients with a range of disabilities (including- but not limited to- Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability and Down's Syndrome). Throughout her career, she has worked in the public and private sector. As well as being a skilled student educator, she has mentored many staff clinically, and assisted them to develop their skills. Her most recent role in the public sector was as Head of Department at a busy Sydney Hospital, co-ordinating and maintaining a high quality service to inpatients and outpatients. Her skills in clinical work, clinical supervision, and management, have culminated in the innovative 'Educate to Communicate' private practice. She is a dynamic presenter and has a keen interest in Adult Education and training. Last but not least, Kate is the proud mother of 2 beautiful children.
