macadamia nut oil
Oil, Cooking Oil, Macadamia Oil
Oz Tukka macadamia nut oil is cold pressed, meaning it is the pure oil that comes out of the nut from pressing without the aid of heat, chemicals or other additives.
Macadamia oil has a smoke point at 200° - 210° C. The advantage of using oil with a high smoke point is that it is less likely to transform into trans fatty acids. Once oil heats up to and above its smoke point it starts to transform.
Macadamia oil is around 85% monounsaturated fat, a balanced 1:1 ratio of Omega 3 and 6, and significant levels of natural antioxidants
Natural Macadamia Nut Oil has the sweet nutty flavour from the macadamia nut but does not overpower flavours of the food you use it with, making it a versatile oil.
Oz Tukka Rainforest Macadamia Nut Oil is infused with lemon myrtle and a dash of ginger. With it’s fresh lemony flavour it is perfect for cooking fish or chicken.
Oz Tukka Wild Pepper Macadamia Oil is infused with Tasmanian pepper. The oil is not peppery hot but has a rather pleasant herbal flavour with a hint of mint and lemon making it a superb all-round oil.
