Rehabilitation, Australian, Wildlife
I rescue wild red foxes which people end up having for various reasons.
Farmers find them in dog traps, they get hit on the road, they're orphaned.
I offer a free alternative to killing foxes because many people don't have the option to keep or release them. A fox isn't something you want roaming around lambs and chooks and, by law, you cannot liberate them.
There are no restrictions on owning foxes in N.S.W at the present time. I've rang my Local Pest Authority, asked my Local Council, The Department of Primary industries and all have said it is legal to own a fox. Please, do not email or phone me telling me it is illegal. It isn't. I've been extremely thorough so I am not breaking any laws.
I don't release foxes. I keep them and hardly ever get calls about them so the numbers I own won't be a problem. See my website for more information.
