The Australian Institute for Relationship Studies offers the Graduate Diploma in Couple and Family Therapy. This course is accredited at a postgraduate level with the NSW Department of Education and Training. We offer specialist clinical training and advanced study in couple and family therapy to professionals who are already working in a counselling or therapy context. There are seven units that must be completed in order to gain the qualification. The seven units can be taken within one year or over a maximum period of three years.
By completing this course Students are eligible to apply for a small number of internships with Relationships (NSW).
The Graduate Diploma in Couple and Family Therapy provides a pathway for entry into the Bachelor of Social Science, Bachelor of Social Work, Graduate Certificate in Social Science and Master of Social Science with the . Completion of the Graduate Diploma program also provides advanced standing in the Master of Couple and Family Therapy at the , and eligibility to enter its second year.
