CHC42315 Certificate IV in Chaplaincy and Pastoral Care is a nationally recognised course. This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to provide individualised ethical, moral and spiritual support to individuals, families and communities. You will be trained and supported throughout your learning journey by a trainer who will have industry experience in chaplaincy and pastoral care.
Delivery modes are through flexible self-paced training and assessment and also through interactive training workshops (depending on availability). Our resources are in printed format and online format. You are also required to complete 100 hours of volunteer workplace experience at an organisation that delivers pastoral care or chaplaincy services. On enrolment you will receive a work diary to document your hours and to describe the tasks you have participated in. Your workplace supervisor will be asked to sign off each set of tasks and provide feedback on your performance. This creates an environment where you can apply the theory you have learnt in your studies into chaplaincy and pastoral care practice.
