CHC42015 CERTIFICATE IV IN COMMUNITY SERVICES is a nationally recognised course and National Training Solutions delivers this course to learners who are employed or who volunteer in the community services sector and also to learners who are looking to be employed or who want to volunteer in the community services sector.
If you are currently unemployed you are encouraged to undertake a period of volunteer work at a community services organisation of your choice to apply the knowledge and skills you have learnt and developed over the period of the course.
The course is also available as a two-year traineeship if eligible. Trainees receive workplace visits as arranged in consultation with the employer and trainee.
This qualification reflects the role of community service workers who design and deliver person-centred services to individuals and/or groups. Workers may provide support, advocacy or interventions to individual clients, groups or communities across a range of services. At this level, workers may work alone with limited responsibility and may be required to supervise and lead other workers in projects or teams. Work may take place in a range of community service, case work or case management contexts.
