Holyoake has a unique focus offering help to all family members, regardless of whether or not the person with the dependency problem seeks help. We recognise the huge impact of alcohol, drugs, gambling and related problems on individual family members and hte family as a system. Consequently we offer a range of programs targeted fro all family members.

Research indicates that a family's strategic responses to these problems can promote postive change within the user. Feedback also shows our clients experience positive changes in anxiety, depressoin and physical symptoms as well as relationship improvements.

PAUSE Program

For parents of adolescents and young adults experiencing problematic alcohol, drug or gambling behaviours. This program invites you to 'pause', take a break, and reflect. It gives you  a chance to become better informed about drugs, share experiences with other parents in a safe and confidential setting, discuss your issues and feelings and develop strategies to deal with them.
