The "Introduction to Health and Nutrition" course is a comprehensive course developed for fitness instructors, personal trainers, fitness professionals and other health practitioners to enable them to understand the relationship between nutrition and the human body. The topics covered in this course are a fundamental background to the concepts of nutrition and dietary intake (from foods to nutrients). The focus of this course is also on the explanation of key points of macronutrient intake, their individual differences, dietary sources, beneficial effects of their consumption and healthy body needs.
