By replacing over 200 Fluorescent Tubes and 140 Halogen Down Lights with the latest in cutting edge LED lighting technologies the club will effectively cut its lighting energy consumption to those items by 70% which respectively reduces the operational costs of those lighting products and their carbon
footprint by 70%.
With registered clubs facing challenging times the Randwick Labor Club via innovative strategies to operational efficiencies has managed a positive outcome to its energy outgoings and making a significant contribution to the well being of the natural environment by reducing its carbon emissions by over 248 metric tonnes over a five year plan.
