Why is litigation so expensive? A recent case I have come across was a relatively straight forward property dispute over the ownership of a property. Yet the lawyers acting previously for the client in this matter wasted so much time and the client's money on non important issues. Arguing about who owns a fridge or washing machine should not be the important focus of the case. These types of lawyers are simply wanting to pad their bills and waste valuable time and money for their clients.
Your lawyer should always direct you where the important issues of your case lie. Generally this will be where the most important asset is at stake. The smaller property issues can always be addressed but never should focus and direction be lost on what is important in the case. Your lawyer needs to be able to explain to you what, where and how to proceed with your matter. If your lawyer is vague and seems not to be able to bring some clarity to the table then you should not proceed with them, as they will simply run up your legal costs leaving you with little result.
As a smaller law firm we are dedicated to achieving cost effective results. We will advise you on the direction and focus to save you money. We will file and lodge with Courts if necessary and no other alternative exists to achieve resolution of your matter. We will not waste your time or your money unless we believe that you have reasonable prospects of success. This is even if it means that we lose money as a result of being honest with you.
We will try to resolve your litigation dispute sooner rather then later where ever possible. Don't waste your time and money unless you can afford to. Contact us to discuss your individual circumstances and see the results that our other clients are having in their matters.
