Sydney Martial Artist Kaylan Soto has just announced the release of his latest book, 'Journey of a Ninja' which is now available at: https://www.createspace.com/3847342 List price $29.99 Review WOW. This book may cause a few ripples of concern and anxiety throughout the Ninjutsu community due to its very personal and critical nature. I would imagine this to be a great read for anyone involved in Japanese martial arts as its easy format, and scope of content, made for a great read. The use of Japanese terminology means this book will sit in my bookshelf along with my other reference books. Interesting to read the authors thoughts on the myriad of Ninjutsu schools throughout the world and some of its more colorful, and not so colorful, identities and personalities. It appears to be a frank and candid text based on the authors observations and experiences during his martial arts career, a first hand view of the world of Ninjutsu, warts and all. The book also covers Dojo etiquette, weaponry, stances and notes on body movement and technique etc. All illustrated which helps. Top marks for the authors no holds barred narration. Desperately need to know more, keep talking Mr Soto. I can feel the temperature rising..........

This book could cause a few ripples of concern but as the Author says in his book, "It's his opinion only" and I also believe that everyone is entitle to their own opinion. I was very impressed with Mr Kaylan Soto's book. A former student of my. He has proven me wrong in a lot of ways. Very interesting reading for any new ninjutsu beginner.
