Zen Shiatsu therapy is a healing technique developed by the Japanese Master, Shizuto Masunaga. Shiatsu literally means finger pressure. It is based on the same theory as acupuncture and is excellent for maintaining health.

Shiatsu is not forceful or painful. It does not rely on symptomatic assessment but uses a diagnostic technique to understand the underlying causes of illness. By helping with blood and lymph circulation in the body, Shiatsu helps to maintain and improve muscle tone and the healthy function of internal organs. It is believed that Shiatsu can also help strengthen the immune system.
