Ulonga Grazing Company operate a sheep and cattle grazing enterprise at "Ulonga Station" on the One Tree Plain situated 55kms north of Hay. "Ulonga Station" is an 80,000 acre grazing property that produces medium merino wool from Ulonga bred merino ewes infused with "Alma" blood rams. The operation produces 500 bales of wool annually and sells both merino sheep and 1st Cross Lambs. "Ulonga" has long been included in the top 50 merino properties in NSW and was established in 1864. The property consists of open plains country and floodplain river frontage to the Lachlan River. Ulonga Grazing Company believe in a mix of landscape preservation and profitable grazing and 10% of the property is closed to grazing for conservation purposes. "Ulonga" is owned by Ben and Cate Barlow and family and is managed by Craig and Leeann Murphy and their family. The business has a long history of producing quality livestock and wool and is operated along conservative lines for the next genration.
