Physiotherapists are human movement specialists, just like a mechanic understands the working of a car a physio understands your body. Physiotherapy utilises a variety of techniques include massage, joint mobilisation, manipulation, ultrasound, heat/cold therapy, acupuncture, stretching and strengthening exercises to help your muscles and joints work to their full potential. Physio’s have an important role in rehabilitation, for example helping stroke victims learn new movements, helping you walk up stairs after knee surgery or returning to sport after a muscle tear.
Physiotherapy can help any condition that affects your muscles, joints, ligaments, discs or nerves such as:
- Back and Neck Pain, including whiplash
- Shoulder, Elbow and Hand Pain

Your Mobile Physio will arrive at your choice of destination and set up the treatment bed and equipment. The Physio will ask you 10 – 15 minutes of questions regarding your injury to gain an understanding of your problem. An assessment will follow where you may be asked to make some basic movements. The physio will diagnose your problem and together will create a treatment plan that will assist you in decreasing your pain and getting your movement back.
