Blausen Medical developer and owner of the world's largest library of 3D medical animations, has added the new topic, Hyperthermia Treatment to its Human Atlas. This brings the total number of topics in the library to 301. In addition to being included in the Blausen Human Atlas, the new topic also will be added to the individual Cancer Atlas (bringing total animations in that atlas to 54). The Hyperthermia Treatment topic demonstrates how this innovative technology exposes cancerous tumors to localized heat in order to increase the effectiveness of subsequent cancer therapy such as radiation. As in all Blausen atlases, the new topic content will include rotating models, labeled slides, and printable text in addition to 3D animation videos.
Bruce Blausen, Founder and CEO of Houston-based Blausen, said of the latest addition, "Just recently we reached the 300 topic milestone in building and maintaining our position as the developer of the world's largest library of 3D animations. Our addition of the new Hyperthermia Treatment topic continues to expand our leadership role in providing the largest, highest quality knowledge base for use in patient education worldwide and in 12 languages."
