Designed to cater for businesses using Google
AdWords as part of their website marketing activity, these courses are aimed at
different levels of experience and will help attendees develop their skills to
make their advertising campaigns more cost-effective.
The first course on Tuesday 31
May is aimed at marketers who are just beginning to use Google AdWords and will
help them avoid the many pitfalls that can quickly lead to wasted or
ineffective advertising spend. Called an Introduction to Google AdWords, this
half day training course in Sydney is being run in response to the growing
business demand to develop in-house knowledge and skills to manage
pay-per-click advertising campaigns.
This AdWords training course has now been
running for several years and covers all the basics to help users get started
with a new Google AdWords account and then develop the campaign into a powerful
marketing tool. As part of a small group, attendees will receive a 'hands on'
training session that will go through the stages of setting up a new AdWords
campaign and cover the main techniques to review and improve the performance of
their advertising once it is activated.
The second training option is the Advanced
Google AdWords training course which is scheduled to take place in Sydney on
Thursday 2 June. This is also a half day course and is designed
for those businesses that have some experience with setting up or running a
Google AdWords campaign, but want to get better results from their spend. It
covers such areas as advanced campaign settings and structure, keyword
targeting, writing effective adverts, bid management techniques, the use of
landing pages and conversion tracking.
Both of these Google AdWords training
courses include a series of practical exercises and examples to give the
attendees a good understanding of the techniques involved in a successful
search engine marketing strategy. This will help to give them a better
understanding of the main issues, so that they will leave with the knowledge to
put the learning into practice with their own website marketing campaigns.
These courses are being run by the Web
Training Workshop, a specialist search engine marketing training company and
part of the Web Marketing Workshop agency, with offices in Australia and the
UK. The company offers a range of training courses covering SEO (search engine
optimisation) and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns – such as Google
AdWords - which have been used successfully by many companies who want to
develop their own skills in understanding and implementing these techniques.
Clive Hawkins, who is running the training
courses in Sydney, said: "We have designed these two Google AdWords
courses based on years of experience dealing with customers who are using
AdWords as a marketing tool. The training will help to give those with
different levels of experience of using AdWords an insight into how they can
set up well-structured new campaigns, or improve and refine their existing
ones. Google AdWords can appear to be a simple system to many business owners,
but it’s also very easy to spend a lot of money quickly due to poorly
structured or targeted campaigns. A short, focused course like this can be a
quick way for advertisers to learn how to refine their marketing activity and
save wasted advertising spend through search."
Anyone interested in attending these
courses, which take place in Brookvale on the Northern Beaches, can sign up
through the Web Training Workshop website at .
The website also includes information on all the courses and locations
currently offered by the company.
The Web Training Workshop is a trading name
of Web Marketing Workshop Pty Ltd and provides search engine marketing training
for business websites, including courses on search engine optimization, Google
AdWords, Google Analytics, social media marketing and search techniques.
Training is provided either as in-house courses with content tailored to each
client, or as larger scheduled courses around Australia.
