Aspiga was created in 2005 as a luxury sandal brand committed to fight poverty through trade. The brand idea was born in London after Lucy received compliments on a pair of hand made sandals she brought back from a trip to Kenya. Since 2005, the brand has expanded its offer to a wider range of luxury hand made sandals as well as Kikoys, jewellery and beachwear always in the respect of strong ethical business values. The two closest values to the Aspiga team’s heart are fairness and giving back. Buying Aspiga products allows people to wear unique design, comfortable, quality products while contributing to the livelihood of local producers in Kenya and India through fair remuneration of the work force. Aspiga is also engaged with The Brydges Centre, a children’s orphanage outside Nairobi, to which the brand donates a percentage of its profits. Take part in our mission and choose Aspiga as your favourite travel partner!
