Australia announced massive changes to General Skilled Migration aimed at reducing applications by over 50%. The first of the changes will start 1 July 2011 and the second, on 1 July 2012.

Experts are predicting that only those able to achieve the highest levels of English proficiency in the already difficult IELTS English Test can proceed, provided they meet all other requirements.

The barrier has been set higher than at any time before. The Government believes that with the high demand for limited places, they can afford to select the very cream of aspiring skilled migrants.

It has never been more important to obtain the latest, correct advice from an Australian Registered Migration Agent such as those at Southern Cross. Please e-mail us for further information.
